William & Mary Beledi Club Classes start this Sunday!

WHEN: January 31, 2011
WHERE: Chesapeake B–Sadler Center W&M Campus
COST: Classes are $50 for 8 weeks each level

1pm–BEGINNER BELLY DANCE–No experience required.
2pm–INTERMEDIATE BELLY DANCE-Veil Class–must have completed Beginner Belly Dance.
3pm–GYPSY or FUSION –Topic of this class will be voted by those attending on so if you have a preference as to which style of fusion belly dance you would like to take, this is open to anyone who has had my basic class, please email or call me to let me know.
4pm–ADVANCED BELLY DANCE–Must have completed both Veil and Zill of the Intermediate level to attend. This session will focus on a Zill choreography so bring your Zills ladies!
5pm–URBAN TRIBAL–Must have completed basic Belly Dance. This is taught at the Intermediate level

The Beledi Club is proud to celebrate its 10th year of bringing quality and professional instruction in the Art of Belly Dance to the campus. No previous dance experience required. Belly dance is fun, easy to learn, and a great workout. Wear comfortable, work out style clothes to class, no jeans or street clothes, and soft soled shoes or bare feet. All ages, sizes, and genders are welcome.

Janna (Janna Beaufait) began studying Belly Dance in 1989 and formed the Desert Wind Dance Company Performance group in 1993. Her highly skilled and perfected dance movements are not only breath taking in their complexity and mesmerizing quality but an inspiration to all who have the great fortune to see her perform. Janna also posses the innate gift of choreography which she readily demonstrates not only in her own dancing but with her many classes of eager students as well. All in all, she is magical to watch. As a certified teacher, Janna's skill level can transform all levels of dance skill from none at all to professional to new abilities and performance.
