The ladies of Desert Wind will be performing three times this year at the International Children’s Festival in Hampton: 12:40-1pm on the Queens Street Stage, 2:20-2:40 on the Main Stage, and 3:10-3:00 on the Queens Street Stage. We could really use some volunteers to help man the booth during those times. Its a lot of fun! If you interested, please call or email Janna. And be sure to come out and cheer us on!!! Janna (Janna Beaufait) began studying Belly Dance in 1989 and formed the Desert Wind Dance Company Performance group in 1993. Her highly skilled and perfected dance movements are not only breath taking in their complexity and mesmerizing quality but an inspiration to all who have the great fortune to see her perform. Janna also posses the innate gift of choreography which she readily demonstrates not only in her own dancing but with her many classes of eager students as well. All in all, she is magical to watch.
