Beginner/Level I Belly Dance Classes. LOCATION: Transform Fitness, formerly Fyzique Fitness, in Yorktown, VA 8100 George Washington Memorial Hwy. Yorktown, VA DAY/TIME: Tuesday's @ 6-7pm COST: $140 for 12 Consecutive Weeks of our Ongoing Classes No experience needed to join! Belly Dance is not only good for the body but good for the soul. Come dressed or with clothes to change into for class, there is a beautiful ladies changing room available to change. Wear stretchy workout style clothing, no jeans or street clothes and you can go barefoot or wear soft soled dance shoes such as ballet slippers. Payment is due before or on first week of class. You can register online with the donate button on the home page or bring a check or money order first day of class. All payments are non-refundable unless classes are canceled by Janna. Over the years I have created many wonderful dances that deserve to be dusted off and brought back to life. These classes are designed for the Rising Intermediate/Beginner II or the dancer returning to class who wants to get their body and technique back or learn how to put all those steps you learned in Beginner Belly Dance together. The choreography is fun, easy and full of great dance steps and technique. Dance style, type and any props TBA at first class. Classes are $55 per monthly. Students will be responsible for any props or potential costumes needed for class. For each show Janna choreographs a special number for the end of the show. You must have completed both the Beginner Bally Dance Class or get Janna's permission to attend. URBAN TRIBAL is taught at the Intermediate Level and you must have completed at least one rotation of Beginner/Level I Belly Dance or get instructor permission to attend. Tribal uses belly dance, East Indian dance, Hip Hop, modern dance, and many other dance styles fused together in fully staged dances. Fun and funky, we fuse all styles of dance with Belly Dance to create a challenging and always creative Urban Tribal Dance....Don't miss out on this one. You must have had at least Janna's 12 Week Beginner Belly Dance or Instructor permission to attend. This is also a performance class and will be performed in the Hafla. Costumes style to be announced at first class. Don't worry, I teach you how to make them too! All dance company's at Janna's are by invitation only. New participants are notified at the beginning of each semester as to their eligibility. Company members perform at the Halfa, Student Nights, and other dance performances throughout the year. at 8:00 pm
