Sabah’s Bellydance Superstars Boot Camp
Dance Master of the Bellydance Superstars, Sabah will share the secrets behind the Bellydance Superstars training methods. This workshop is perfect for those new to belly dance, experienced dancers looking to up their game, and belly dance teachers looking for exciting new exercises to add to their repertoire. Come experience this continuous workshop flowing from warm-up through stretch and strengthening exercises, technique drills into travel across the floor.

Kami Liddle Lyrical Choreography
The concept of lyrical dance is to convey the emotions of a song’s lyrics. This choreography is rooted in belly dance yet borrows from ballet, modern and jazz techniques in order to create a dance that tells a story. No previous experience in any other dance form other than belly dance is required.

Our favorite show of the year!! We are having a great weekend long event with Workshops at the Janna’s, shows from the Superstars at the American Theater in Hampton and our annual Halfa-Ween! Participants in the Workshops are welcome to dance in the Hafla-Ween or receive a free $5 entrance ticket. Dancers who are interested in dancing in the Hafla-Ween must be pre registered for at least one workshop and let Janna know they intend to dance in the Hafla-Ween.
Rules for Hafla-Ween Show:
1. NO belly dance music! Use all those great songs that you dance to in your living room.
2. Keep it clean. NO suggestive lyrics. This is a family event.
3. Get your music choice to Janna’s ASAP. Once your song has been added to the list, no one else can use it. Be sure to reserve your music choice…. (Janna reserves the right to veto songs due to suggestive lyrics or if another dancer or group has already chosen the song)
For everyone else: $5 per person
COME IN COSTUME!! THIS IS A COSTUME EVENT FOR EVERYONE! If you would like to bring a snack to share, we would welcome the addition to our goulish goodies table. Soft drinks will be provided. The event is “discretely wet.” Underlings, stick to soft drinks!! Be sure to designate. We will have lots of dance music for everyone who is not in the show to jam to and live drumming! ATS’ers, plan on a dance jam!
